For three simple days, Muppy and Miss Yumi stayed in a village, north of London with a very nice American ex-pat named Patricia. There, Muppy learned about the gentle ways of the country and learned how to eat "gluten-free". A few days later, Miss Yumi decided to relocate to a nice flat in Islington (also north of the city, but not so far out). Since then, Muppy has been playing with his two-year-old flatmate, Carmen and searching for the perfect job with Miss Yumi!

The Landing
About one month ago, Muppy was stuffed into a bag and shipped over to the Motherland, the Queen's country. For about 7 hours, Muppy was not a happy camper, but the second he arrived at London's Heathrow Airport, he was overcome by joy.

The Day of the Floating Ephemera
When Muppy woke up, there were seeds and orbs floating in the wind. Everything he had experienced thus far was nice and pleasant, but he sensed a change coming. Today was Boy's Day and Cinco de Mayo. A day of feasting and fun for most, but poor Muppy had work to do and would save his koi-flying celebrations for a day when he could play with Kiki once again.

Sideways with the Old, Adjacent with the New!
Turns out the G.I. Joe laptop got a very low rating, so Miss Yumi found a suitably smaller sized yet upgraded version of the computer she was using. "Dakine," the 15-inch MacBook Pro would not go down without a fight as the tiny 13-inch known as"Chicken Kicker–the Destroyer of iPads" was a tough laptop to attain. A four day fiasco of customer service and compatibility problems stormed down on Miss Yumi, which ended with her going to read in the other room.
Early Monday morning, Miss Yumi's mom saved the day by dropping off a cable that would help Muppy transfer files from Miss Yumi's older computer to her new work station. He could see himself as a top notch IT technician, but what he didn't like were the lies. This little new computer was only a few days old and was already fibbing about the completion time of said transfer. The nonsense was cause for a nap in Muppytown. Maybe when he woke up, the horrible process would be over.

Time's a tickin'
And Miss Yumi's computer don't work. Well, not properly and not while using certain applications. With a few projects due and more side projects that she'd like to do, Miss Yumi has had to tri-monitor it with the help of her dad's computer set-up. Maybe it's time to get that new laptop? Muppy made it clear that he wants the GI Joe Mars laptop with the headset digital camera. We'll see.

Fish Tales Continued...
A few posts back, a mini-drama unfolded between Chipotle and Felix, the two fish under Miss Yumi's care. After much discussion with Felix the Elder about his living conditions, Muppy realized that the only solution to ending the quarrels was to "pimp his house." That being said, a short trip to the pet store solved everything and Felix is now as happy as little Chipotle in his slick black 5.5" cube studio. According to Muppy, Felix reportedly stated that between the two tanks, his would end up on MTV Cribs. If that is the case, then he might have to change his name to M.C. Feel X. Better watch out.

Study Break!
Technically, it was "study time," but Muppy had never been to a library, so it was much more exciting than work. It had also been many moons ago since Miss Yumi stepped into the Annapolis Area Library and the experience was slightly different than she remembered. Instead of a dark and humid maze of children's books and two catalogue computers, it had transformed into a dark and air conditioned internet lab with people of all ages researching and checking their emails. Luckily, there were still plenty of books and a few that Miss Yumi hadn't seen about London. Muppy leaned towards history and the Chesapeake. With seeing all the midshipmen in town and boats at sea, his new dream in life is to become a sailor! Yarrr!

A Trip to the Park...
... a trip to South Park that is! All work and no play makes Muppy a sad dog. To combat this, Muppy got to watch his first episode of the uncensored but technically politically-correct show and loved it! He may not have understood most of it, but there was a shark and children the same size as him. In fact, Muppy liked it so much that he wanted to be one. One what? I don't know. One of them. So, I did the best that I could and made him an avatar. They didn't get the ears quite right, but it's definitely Muppy :) He's happy now.
