Saying Goodbye is Hard to Do

Miss Yumi and Muppy's last night in Washington was yet another night to remember. After some reading time at Barnes and Nobles, Karen and Miss Yumi decide that their new hotspot in Bellevue, Sushi Mojo is the way to go. Muppy, who had never been, was up for anything. Once the Bellevue Mahjong Team of Karen, Miss Yumi, Lingo and Frank reunited, the food could be served. The party moved onto Parlor, where more people showed up for pool and drinks. Muppy was exhausted by the end of the night, but can't wait to visit Seattle and Bellevue again!

Buses to Bellevue

Muppy always wondered where Miss Yumi traveled around Washington state. He had heard stories of a town called Bellevue, where the malls were grand and the apartment buildings were tall! When Miss Yumi said that they would be taking a few bus rides to Bellevue to see some friends, Muppy was ecstatic. He'd only been on one very short bus trip within Seattle and couldn't wait to see even more!

Early Morning Brew

After about a week of touristy play, Miss Yumi and Muppy get to work. In a downtown Seattle Tully's, Miss Yumi teaches Muppy how to use Adobe Illustrator and then let's him do his thing. He's a quick learner. MacBook Pro. After finishing up a rough draft for a Kalihi-Palama health brochure, they head down to Pier 55, home of The Matale Line. Miss Yumi gets a chance to reminisce with her old co-workers and then settles down to use their internet to send in her project. Go non-profit design go!

Ninja Dinners

Monday nights are Ninja nights in North Bellevue. Seen below is "Ninja Turtle" Raphael, keeping guard over the Lee Establishment. Muppy met his doppleganger in the garage. The rest of the night resulted in a taco dinner and episodes of Ninja Warrior! Muppy is still working on his ninja outfit. More to come...  

Lazy Friday

Even when the sun is shining in Seattle, little Muppy will sleep in to make sure he gets his beauty rest.

Easter Sunday on Marion Street

On Easter morning, Muppy and Miss Yumi awake to a fine brisk day with rare blue skies for all. First and foremost is a visit to Saint James Cathedral to offer roses to the Virgin Mary. After enjoying one of the most beautiful churches, Miss Yumi stops by her old apartment building to revisit old memories with Muppy. Looks like tenants are constantly coming and going these days! When they finally realize that their tummies have been growling, the two decide to stop by Kanpai around the corner for some much needed rest and food. It ends up being some of the best udon that they have ever had! The rest of Muppy and Miss Yumi's day is spent revisiting buses, places and people that they will never forget. 

Muppy lands in Seattle

After a long voyage with much luggage and a fish named Felix, Muppy and Miss Yumi land at SEA-TAC to visit family and friends from a time not too long ago.
